RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

Simplified Process

To report an issue with your purchase, please complete our after-sales service form online as soon as possible. Ensure you provide a detailed description of the issue, along with your proof of purchase and photos. Make sure your email address is correct before submitting the form. Please allow 2 business days for us to process your request.

Eligibility Conditions

Order Cancellation

  • You have up to 15 days after placing your order to cancel it and receive a full refund.
  • After 15 days, you can still cancel your order, but the amount paid will be converted into a store credit, valid for future purchases.

Order Return

  • Once you have received your order, you have 2 days after delivery to report an issue or request a return.
    • The item must be returned in its original condition: unused, unopened, with tags, and in its original packaging.
    • A proof of purchase is required.
    • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Special Orders and Demo Sales

  • All special orders and demo sales are considered final sales, with no cancellations, exchanges, or refunds possible.

Return Procedure

  1. Contact us at customerservice@chevous.ca with a detailed description of the issue, photos, and proof of purchase.
  2. If the return is approved, we will provide you with a shipping label and instructions.
  3. Items returned without a prior return request will not be accepted.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Customer Responsibility

When purchasing furniture from Chévous, it is important to ensure that the dimensions of the product fit the intended space. If the furniture does not fit through the door opening during delivery or pickup, you may choose another item, but Chévous will charge additional delivery fees. Please note that restocking fees of up to 25% may apply for unopened items. Opened items are not eligible for a refund.

It is important to note that Chévous will not provide any refunds.

Damages and Issues

You have 48 hours following delivery to report any damage to the merchandise.
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember that it can also take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

15-Day Price Guarantee: Store Credits for Price Adjustments

Price Guarantee Procedure:
We are committed to offering you the best possible prices. That’s why we offer a 15-day price guarantee on our products. If the price of an item you purchased drops within 15 days of your purchase, we will refund the difference as a store credit, including taxes.

Eligibility and Usage:
To benefit from this price guarantee and the corresponding store credit, please note the following conditions:

  • Your purchase must have been made within the 15 days preceding the price reduction.
  • The purchased item must be identical to the one for which the price reduction was applied.
  • The reduced price must be displayed in our store within 15 days of your initial purchase.
  • The item must be eligible under our return policy, which means it must be in the same condition as you received it: unused, unopened, with tags, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required to return the product.

The store credit you receive can be used for any future purchase in our store and has no expiration date. We are committed to ensuring that our customers always benefit from the best prices.

Illustrative Example:
Let’s say you purchased a sofa for $899, including taxes, for a total of $1033.62. If the price of the same sofa drops to $999, including taxes, within 15 days of your purchase, you’ll automatically be eligible for a store credit of $34.62. This credit will be added to your account for future use.
