Return and Exchange Policy
Simplified Process
To report an issue with your purchase, please fill out our after-sales service form online as soon as possible. Be sure to provide a precise description of the problem, along with your proof of purchase and photos. Please ensure your email address is correct before submitting the form. A processing time of 2 business days is required to review your request.
Eligibility Conditions
• Order Cancellation
- You have up to 7 days after placing your order to cancel it and receive a full refund.
- After 7 days, you may still cancel, but the amount paid will be converted into a store credit, valid without time limit for your future purchases.
• Order Return
Once you have received your order, you have 48 hours after receipt to request a return.
- To request a return, the item must be returned in its original condition: unused, unopened, with its tags, and in the original packaging.
- Proof of purchase is required.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Once the products have been returned and inspected, the amount paid will be converted into an in-store credit, valid with no time limit for your future purchases.
• Reporting an Issue with a Received Order
Once you have received your order, you have 48 hours after receipt to report a problem.
- To report an issue with your purchase, please fill out our after-sales service form online as soon as possible.
- Boxes must be kept until the case has been fully resolved.
• Special Orders and Floor Models
- All special orders and floor model sales are considered final sales, with no possibility of cancellation, exchange, or refund.
- For any special order (including, but not limited to, fabric color changes, material changes, or any modification requested by the customer), a reception and delivery time will be communicated. This timeframe is provided for reference only and may vary depending on supplier availability, production, and transportation. It does not constitute a firm guarantee.
• Return Procedure
- Contact us at customerservice@chevous.ca with a precise description of the problem, photos, and proof of purchase.
- If the return is accepted, we will provide you with a shipping label and instructions.
- Items returned without a prior return request will not be accepted.
Return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Customer Responsibility
If you purchase furniture from Chévous, it is important to ensure that the product dimensions fit the space where you intend to place it. If the furniture does not pass through the doorway at the time of delivery or pickup, you may make a new selection, but Chévous will charge you the delivery fees again. Please note that restocking fees of up to 25% may apply to unopened items. Unboxed items are not eligible for a refund.
It is important to emphasize that Chévous will not issue any refunds.
Damages and Issues
You have 48 hours following delivery to report any material damage to the merchandise.
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and correct it.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and we will let you know if the refund has been approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded via your original payment method. Please note that processing and posting of the refund may also take some time with your bank or credit card company.
7-Day Price Guarantee: Store Credit for Price Adjustment
• Price Guarantee Procedure:
We are committed to offering you the best possible prices. That is why we provide a 7-day price guarantee on our products. If the price of an item you purchased decreases within 7 days of your purchase, we will refund the difference in the form of store credit, including taxes.
• Eligibility and Use:
To benefit from this price guarantee and the corresponding store credit, please note the following conditions:
- Your purchase must have been made within the 7 days prior to the price reduction.
- The purchased item must be identical to the one for which the price reduction has been applied.
- The reduced price must be displayed in our store within 7 days of your initial purchase.
- The item must be eligible under our return policy, meaning it must be in the same condition as received: unused, unopened, with tags, and in the original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase to return the product.
The store credit you receive can be used for any future purchase in our store and is valid with no time limit. We are committed to ensuring our customers always benefit from the best prices.
• Illustrative Example:
Suppose you purchased a sofa for $899, taxes included, for a total of $1,033.62. If the price of the same sofa is reduced to $999, taxes included, within 7 days of your purchase, you will automatically be eligible for a store credit of $34.62. This credit will be added to your account for future use.
